An Imperfection of mine… Caring too much. This is when God reminds me that it is IN HIM that my imperfections are made perfect.
God has made each of us the way we are for a reason. We function and fulfill the purpose He has for our lives so smoothly when we walk in his footsteps.

At times I think I should stop caring so much about people. I mean I care even for the lady at Ross on Friday… if ya have a minute read my story of Friday’s shopping at Ross with Naomi.
I pull up in my parking spot. I see the lady’s car ahead of me she just pulled in to her spot as well - I’ll label her “Chica30″.  There’s an older woman that apparently was waiting for that parking spot “forever” [...]

From an e-mail from my father, sent very early this morning (yesterday evening, US time).
I’m a little sad as I type this email. Just after we got home from the movies today I got a call from Aunt Jean’s doctor. I knew she wasn’t doing well and I was expecting such a call. Aunt Jean passed away around 3:30 this afternoon and I went to the nursing home after, to kiss her goodbye.
I’m glad we all got together in May to celebrate her 100th birthday and I’m trying to focus on all the happy memories I have. Whenever I spoke to Aunt Jean she always asked about you. She was very proud of you and I am very proud of you as well. Thats all I can say for now.
Dad
I have written about Aunt Jean before. And while I may have expected this, as well, I was not [...]

It’s been eons since I last written a blog entry.

I am not a fan of people who blogs and talks about their mundane personal life. In my opinion, most people write about their life only when they are going through break-ups or just complaining about life in general, seldom do they pen down those merry moments.

Well, everyone has different priorities in life and we should accept them of what they are. For me, I would like to pen down the things that my “iron-faced” self would never say to anyone.

Okay, let’s not procrastinate and move on.

In summary, my life has been quite blessed. Everyone either love or hate me to the core. There are only two extremes. I wonder why? Ha!

Well, I must admit that I am not the best friend you want to rely on. I am not the best listener or adviser to [...]

Well, not me, but my laptop. My oh-so-responsible daughter got a critical error message while she was online the other night, but didn’t tell me anything about it until she couldn’t get the computer to startSunday morning. I tried a few tricks I’m pretty familiar with, but all I got was this ugly, black screen, with a message reading, “Disk read error.Press ctrl+alt+delete to restart”. After trying that about ten times, I decided my poor 4 1/2 year old laptop had finally suffered a serious crash. I called Dell this morning, and after finally reaching India five hours later, lol, I got a very nice technician who walked me through a few troubleshooting exercises, but to no avail. So, I am getting a brand new hard drive, and a new keypad as a courtesy, shipped to my home in 3-5 business days. Then the technician will come over to install it for [...]

Wow. I can’t believe it’s Monday already. I’m on my way to work now. I am sooo beat. I had a GREAT weekend, though. As soon as I got back in from Justin’s game, I started getting ready for Olivia’s party. I still hadn’t even finished frosting her cake when her grandparents arrived. And we hadn’t even begun to get the decorations up. Livie was still in the clothes she wore to the game, so my MIL offered to get her ready for me. Within minutes, family started arriving back to back. Needless to say, I never got a chance to get myself ready, and spent 90% of the party in the kitchen, only stopping long enough to sing “Happy Birthday” and take pictures. Right after I cut the cake, Hubby’s family began to file out. His younger sister, I could understand because her son is autistic, and I know [...]

I interviewed my favorite anchor, and new friend, Joe Brown for a final project before graduation. Joe gave me support and advice all throughout my internship.
